#11 Get Involved in Tyler's School

Well--I completed my 1st goal! Goal #11.

Get Involved in Tyler's School.

I was talked into (or I kind of volunteered) to be the Secretary of the PTSA at Tyler's elementary school.  Our first meeting was a couple of weeks ago.  It was actually very interesting.

I am excited to get to know some more parents and learn how the school works!

Now that the 1st goal is completed.....I feel like I have made it over the 1st hump!!

Thanks for reading!

(I promise some pictures of the kids soon!)

It has been WAY to long since my last post.
Here is a photo recap of our summer since the 4th of July:

WATERCADE

Bumpa is still running the tennis tournament--I believe this was year 32....

I, of course, marched in the Alumni Band! I hope to see more fellow LHS Marching Band members in the Alumni Band again...it was so much fun!! (nerd, i know)
LAKE TIME!

Happy Kiddos=Happy Parents!

Natalie LOVES riding on the tube! She was laughing and smiling the whole time!
TWINS GAME with the MILLERS

Over 30 Millers went to the Twins Game in July. This was extra special because Grandma loves baseball and the Twins. She suffered a stroke on August 18th and passed away on August 25th. We love you Grandma, you will be greatly missed!

If you recall, in my first post, I mentioned that I was working on 101 goals in 1001 days. Well it is darn hard to come up with 101 goals! I am close though! Hopefully, I will be posting that by the end of the week or this weekend! Stay tuned!!

Happy 4th of July!!!!

Natalie was not afraid to jump right in the water!
And, of course, her 1st jet-ski ride!
She laughed the whole way!

Tyler wanted to jump off the end of the dock without his life jacket. But, as you can see...
he was little scared......(he didn't want to "sink")
EVENTUALLY..(after about 25 attempts)
he jumped in! And believe it or not...
Daddy caught him!!

We also have quite the avid fisherman on our hands.
He probably caught a total of 25 fish the whole weekend.
According to Tyler, he caught sunnies, pumpkin seeds,
bluegills, northerns, bass, and crappies.
Here is one of the bigger sunnies!

Natalie had fun sitting on the steps waving at everyone
in the water as well as all the boats!
It was a great long weekend!
